With 32,103 total files as of March 31, 2009 (including 10,890 restricted access dissertations), the UNL Digital Commons ranked as the 3rd largest university repository in the United States (trailing only the University of Michigan's Deep Blue and Ohio State University's Knowledge Bank). Distribution of usage was spread quite broadly across the available files, with more than 50% of all downloads registered on articles with 14 or fewer for the month.
