Abstract
The purpose of the research reported in this thesis was to investigate if there are growth regulators which affect the bulbing of onions of different types under varying conditions of temperature and photoperiod.The objective of this research was to study the effects of a wide range of growth regulators on the time of bulbing of long-day and short-day American and Turkish onion varieties under different photoperiods and temperature regimes in the field and in the greenhouse.
