Since the use of certified seed wheat can play an important role in the production of the wheat crop, it is felt that studies of certified seed are needed. The objectives are to: 1. Determine the marketing of channels for Nebraska produced certified wheat seed. 2. Describe the out-of-state movement of Nebraska seed. 3. Analyze the following price relationships: a. geographic, b. variety, c. quantity, d. support, and e. terminal market. 4. Describe the sales promotional work of seed wheat producers and the Nebraska Crop Improvement Association. 5. Explore the competitive position of certified seed wheat production as a Nebraska farm enterprise.
