Cedar Point Biological Station is operated by UNL's School of Biological Sciences. The field station is located in western Nebraska on the south shore of Lake Ogallala. Cedar Point is eight miles north of the city of Ogallala, and one mile down stream from the sandy shores of the largest body of water in Nebraska, Lake McConaughy.
