The mission of the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering program is to educate qualified students in engineering sciences and engineering design methods to prepare them for successful professional careers and to contribute to the needs of society. Major areas of research include tissue engineering, nanotechnology, biomaterials, biomolecular engineering, and biotechnology.
