Abstract
This paper describes briefly a survey conducted at Alagappa University, Central Library, Karaikudi to find out the information access pattern of the users through UGC-Infonet digital library consortium’s journals. A sample size of sixty five Alagappa University Central Library users was selected by random sampling method. The data required for the study was collected through a questionnaire. The findings of the study:58 (89.23%) are aware about the UGC-Infonet journals. 24(36.92%) of the respondents are aware the infonet journals through the library professionals. More than two fifths of the users access the infonet journals daily. 45(69.23%) respondents are satisfied for use of infonet journals. Majority of the respondents are satisfied with use of infonet journals rendered by the Central Library.
