An overview of the large intestinal nematodes (roundworms) in the superfamily Ascaridoidea. Includes a discussion of the taxonomy, as well as the biology and other aspects of ascarids and anasakids of human medical and veterinary importance, such as Ascaris lumbricoides, Toxocara canis, Anasakis spp., and other species.
