Abstract

The objective of the research reported herein was to determine the most efficient method of utilizing crop residues by beef cows and to evaluate the use of supplements containing different levels and sources of nitrogen during winter grazing and in summer drylot.

Three beef cow experiments utilizing crop residues with various nitrogen sources and levels were conducted along with an experiment on corn plant composition.
