Abstract
This study was done in an effort to find answers to these and other related questions concerning the play The Scarecrow. The problem of this study is twofold:
1. To discover if Percy MacKaye’s play The Scarecrow can be produced on a small stage using average staging facilities in solving the many technical problems inherent in the play.
2. To discover if Percy MacKaye’s play The Scarecrow can offer an entertaining evening of theatre without extensive script revision.
