Abstract
It is necessary to know what physical environment is likely to be encountered in an upset in Nebraska. Existing studies of tractor upsets are statistical surveys. An engineering analysis of tractor upsets is necessary and this information should be related to the performance testing procedures. In an attempt to gain this information thirty-six upset accidents were investigated and two pendulum tests were conducted.
