Abstract

This study was the first documented ecological investigation on the Heller Natural History Research Area of the University of Nebraska, hereafter referred to as the Reller Tract. This tract was given by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Keller to the State Museum of the University of Nebraska in 1970. Ecological descriptions in this study essentially represent the nature of the tract at that time. Field investigations were carried out from June 1971 through August 1972.
