Personal Construct Systems and Theological Conservatism: A Psychological Study of Conservative Lutheran Pastors
Abstract
This study is aimed at understanding, from the perspective of Kelly's Psychology of Personal Constructs (1955), aspects of a current, nationally known ecclesiastical controversy. More specifically, it is an attempt to ferret out relationships between personal construct systems and theological stances. Since Kelly's theory of personality is basically interpersonal and was developed in and for the clinic, the search will carry into areas of personality, social and clinical psychology.
Subject Area
Clinical psychology
