Abstract

Side-oats grama, Bouteloua curtipendula (Michx.) Torr., is a widely adapted native grass species that produces large yields of good quality forage, and shows possibilities for improvement through breeding. Its habit of growth and fair seed producing qualities suggest its suitability for domestication as a cultivated forage огор.
