The educational and vocational plans of junior college students with special reference to the curriculum
Abstract
"what manner of child shall this be?" is a query asked relative to a new movement, a typically American movement, which has in recent years loomed up on the educational hori- con. The question is emanating from the lips not only of its foss but also of its sincere friends. One cannot say with certainty just where and when it started, although an approxi- mation might be made in this respect:1 however, we are certain that it is here with us. In fact, the writer ventures the assertion that it is destined to sojourn with us for a long time, if not to ebide permanently, because it apparently is filling a real need. In spite of its recency the movement may even be said to have emerged from lusty childhood to a stage of robust adolescence which is claiming general attention. This new movement is known as the junior college movement.
