Abstract
EC 00-1778-X: This circular provides information on how farmers can use windbreaks in their fields to improve yields of their crops. It gives the positive aspects proper windbreaks have not only on crops but also for the wildlife of an area. Benefits of Field Windbreaks include; wind erosion control, snow management, improved crop yields, wildlife habitat, global climate change, how a field windbreak works, field windbreak design field windbreak economics, windbreak management and maintenance, and agroforestry.
