BULLETIN OF THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF PETROLEUM GEOLOGISTS VOL. 37. NO. 3 (MARCH, 1953), PP. 549-569. 4 FIGS.

Abstract

This paper presents evidence for the post-Price River and pre-North Horn orogeny, in the Gunnison Plateau of central Utah (Fig. 1), and shows its magnitude. The first definite evidence of such a movement was found by C. T. Hardy in 1951, although it had been suggested previously, without definite evidence, by Gilliland (1949, 1951).
