Abstract

Entrepreneurship and technology education are central issues in the present state of dwindling national economies. Information is the bedrock for national development, and information professionals are agents in using this information tool to promote entrepreneurship. This paper discusses the roles of Information professionals in promoting entrepreneurial and technology education to address the high rate of unemployment and declining economic state in Nigeria. The paper also highlights the concept of entrepreneurship and technology education in Nigeria, information professionals and technology education enhancement, actualizing vision 2020 as a road map for transforming Nigeria into an economic giant.
