Abstract
Tribes across the United States are fighting to reclaim Sacred Mountains. The Northern Wintu of California are battling for Mount Shasta, Arizona tribes are protecting Mount Graham and the Pueblos of New Mexico have laid claim to the Sandias. For these tribes protecting the mountains is important to them both spiritually and biologically. What's at stake if tribes aren't able to stop the desecration of these ancient mountains? Guests include Pancho Bigby of the Ft. Belknap Natural Resources Department and Frank Chavez of the Sandia Pueblo.
