Abstract
Columbus landed on the shores of Baracoa Bay more than 500 years ago, wreaking havoc and changing lifeways of Native peoples forevermore. Yet Cuba still enjoys a rich legacy of indigenous traditions, healing practices, ceremonies and songs. How can Native Americans foster better relations with Cubans? Joining the program live from Baracoa Bay, Cuba are Jose Barriero of Native Americas Journal and other Native herbalists.
