Abstract
A new report issued on the 14th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear meltdown says the accident released 100 times more radiation than two atomic bombs used in World War II. Some seven million people are suffering from Chernobyl's fallout in Russia, the Ukraine and the Netherlands, and the numbers continue to grow. What lessons did Chernobyl teach us?
