Abstract

The Cerro Grande fire that has torched nearly fifty thousand acres in northern New Mexico has moved into Indian Country on Santa Clara Pueblo land. The blaze is burning sites held sacred by the pueblo and is jeopardizing their subsistent way of life. How will the people rebuild once the inferno is stopped? Invited guests include New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson.
