Abstract
Over the years our society’s need for privacy has increased tremendously. George Orwell’s 1984 provides an in-‐depth look at a totalitarian society where there is no privacy and where ciOzens are under constant surveillance. Our society is slowly devolving into a totalitarian state. This research invesOgates the ways our world has changed and how it now resembles the society found in George Orwell’s 1984.
