Abstract

The major objectives of this thesis are: (1) to develop the framework of a model incorporating both the farm organization model and the feed formulation model; (2) to determine what change occurs in the original farm organization model when the feed formulation model was included; (3) to determine the cause of the changes in the farm organization model after the feed formulation model was incorporated; and (4) to determine if the combination of these two models serves the manager as a more efficient and accurate decision-making tool than either model taken separately.
