Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted for this thesis was to determine the effect of various environmental factors upon the glucosides of o-hydroxycinnamic acid in leaves, stems, and roots of sweetclover plants. A better understanding of the effect of such factors should provide a clearer picture of the genetic mechanisms that control the biosynthesis of o-hydroxycinnamic acid.
