Abstract
Simultaneous mass transfer and chemical reaction in a staged contacting column is an important operation in the chemical process industry.This study uses a multivariant Newton-Raphson algorithm to model simultaneous mass transfer and liquid phase chemical reaction in a nonequilibrium absorption column.
