Abstract

The objective of the research undertaken was to determine and evaluate the effects of sodium hydroxide, sodium peroxide, and hydrogen peroxide on alfalfa stems and corn cobs. Particular attention was paid to the effect of chemical treatments on digestibility, plant composition, and lignin degradation.
