Abstract
The purpose of this study was to measure the actual performance of single crosses resulting from inter- and intra- crosses among two unrelated groups of lines of corn and predict the better double crosses within and between the two groups of lines. Information on the behavior of the parental lines based upon their performance in the two types of crosses were sought also.
