Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to determine if a current zinc soil test could be improved by different methods of extraction, 2) to consider the possibility of using the same extractant that was used for zinc as a soil test for other micronutrients, and 3) to obtain more information on the release of micronutrients from the soil. Three different chemical procedures were used to remove micronutrients from the soil. These results were used along with analysis of plant material obtained from a previous greenhouse experiment with the same soils.
