Abstract
Philacelota jakli sp. n. (Scarabaeidae: Melolonthinae: Melolonthini) is described, illustrated and compared with the other two known congeners, P. submaculata Heller and P. sulana Heller. Philacelota sub maculata is here designated the type species for the genus.
