Rebranding Nigeria through Strategic Library Services

Abstract

The paper focuses on the participatory role of the library in the rebranding Nigeria project (RNP). The image of Nigeria has been damaged internally and externally, and needs urgent attention, hence the rebranding campaign. For the RNP to be sustained, it needs the collaborative efforts of organizations and governments. The paper identifies these collaborative efforts, and discusses strategic library services aimed at sustaining the RNP for generations to come. It concludes that libraries are established to serve as an instrument for national development.
