USER-EDUCATION IN PUBLIC SECTOR UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA: AN ANALYTICAL APPROACH

The major focus of this paper is on the assessment of user education in university libraries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-Pakistan. Survey based approach was adopted. Lecture method was reported as the most effective tool for the awareness of library users. Modern technologies and techniques should be used to improve better library services and resources in University libraries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-Pakistan. Users’ satisfaction should be given top priority while imparting user education to their clientele.
