Abstract
The usability evaluation of library management systems is important to improve the provision of library service. The present study aimed to evaluate the usability of Azarsa Library Management System based on the user experience. In this research, 200 users of Azarsa library management system were selected as study samples by a simple random sampling method. The 26-item user experience questionnaire was used to collect data. The highest scores relating to mean data of the evaluation of Azarsa library management system belonged to the system's "perspicuity" with a mean of 0.772, "dependability" of system with a mean of 0.550, and the "stimulation" of system with a mean of 0.529. In addition, the system status was not suitable in terms of "efficiency", "attractiveness" and "novelty". The system was better than 50% of studies and worse than 25% of studies in perspicuity, stimulation and novelty components. Despite the widespread use of Azarsa library management system in Iran, it has some usability problems in some components that can affect the quality of user interactions with system, and consequently affect the outcome of service provision.
