Abstract
In the medical industry there has always been the argument of why don’t women get paid more than their male counterparts. There currently is not any work being done to get the gap closed between female and male medical workers. The importance of this research is to see the reasons as to why there is a wage gap in the medical field and what has caused it. It goes further into depth of how society has played a factor and what can people do to help to close this gap.
