Abstract
Poverty has been affecting children in elementary school for many generations. It affects their lives by decreasing their chances at a better life outside of poverty through their education. Through research, I found that children living in poverty do not do as well in school than those living with a higher income. Poverty affects them through their family, social, psychological, and health aspects
