Abstract
The sandhill region of Nebraska is a plains regions that has been excessively modified by the force of wind. It is an area of partially changed environment through wind action, an area of dune sandhills, sandy basins and valleys, exposed ground water lakes and marshes, and possessing little surface runoff.
