    Abstract

    The common lilac shrub has long been a staple in both the amateur and professional landscaper’s plant palette. Its dark green leaves blending with its fragrant lavender flowers are a favorite of springtime landscapes. Lilac lovers prefer the multi-stemmed shrub.
