Abstract
This thesis is a discussion of the Panama Canal addresses multiple issues, including the “Toll Problem”, the Panama Canal in connection with railroads, the intercoastal trade of the United States, world routes of the Panama Canal, other interoceanic canals, and the influence of the Panama Canal on Currents on Trade.
The Panama Canal has resulted in the greatest benefits to the domestic trade of the United States; it has done much to aid foreign trades and by so doing has exerted an influence on the trade of other countries.
