Abstract
This thesis examines the effect of drugs on higher thought processes. More specifically, the focus is on the effect of the drug benzedrine sulfate on the thought process of syllogistic reasoning.
This experiment was constructed with the following objectives in view: First, to determine whether or not benzedrine sulfate had an appreciable effect on syllogistic reasoning; and second, to consider the variables of change in mood, fatigue, blood pressure, and heart rate due to the benzedrine and determine their relation to the effect of the drug on reasoning.
