Abstract
Greater demands and limited resources mean that innovation is essential for Information Technology Systems (ITS) at the University of Nebraska. A key element of a successful and innovative organization is a culture that values and respects diversity. Diverse teams, in turn, lead to improved performance and a more effective organization (Hutchings & De Cieri, 2016). In this interactive session, presenters will discuss the role male allies have in creating an inclusive culture, discuss every-day actions that everyone can take to improve the work environment, and promote the 2 development of a Male Ally group within ITS and how participants can stay involved.
