Abstract

Part 1 profiles some centers at University of Nebraska-Lincoln that have contributed unusual content collections to the institutional repository, including the Internet Center for Wildlife Damage Management, Eastern Pine and Meadow Vole Symposia, National Conference on Feral Hogs, National Animal Damage Control Association, Bird Strike Committee, Vertebrate Pest Conference, National Wildlife Research Center, university publications such as the Hexapod Herald, Manure Matters, and Nebraska Vine Lines, Cooperative Extension documents, and the Lester F. Larsen Tractor Test and Power Museum.

Part 2 describes book publishing efforts since 2005, including the Dictionary of Invertebrate Zoology, The Constitutions of the Free-Masons, Hopi Nation, The Fish Doctor, Mathematics for Classical Information Retrieval, Musical Mechanics for the Organist, Wonders of the Invisible World, and De bestiis marinis. Discusses opportunities and strategies for libraries as publishers.
