Abstract
Extension Service 4-H 268: Leader guide, the sitter; Part 1, year one- the job- babysitting it, lesson organization, sitting- a responsible job, paying attention to the child and situation, tips for sitters- making the right decision, sitting safely, and dos and donts. Part 2, year 2- the child, Children and play- how do children grow, play-play-play, playing safely, mealtimes and bedtimes, meal time- fixing and feeding, stories for children, bedtime rules, rituals and techniques, emergencies- an ounce of prevention and coping with emergencies. Answer to babysitters test.
