Abstract
Las pinturas rupestres como los petroglifos y geoglifos son los antecedentes más antiguos del mural en América, incorporándose al paisaje en forma ecológica. La pintura rupestre de Cerro Colorado, Córdoba, Argentina fue comparada con los conceptos básicos y definiciones del mural. El estudio del lenguaje originario brinda la posibilidad de ingresar a un espacio atemporal y sin límites en sus planos físicos, psíquicos y espirituales, por aplicar una perspectiva cósmica con visión de totalidad, aceptando ser parte de un todo, utilizando un lenguaje innato de arquetipos, esenciales en la comunicación humana.
Rock paintings such as petroglyphs and geoglyphs are the oldest antecedents of the mural in America, incorporating them into the landscape in an ecological form. The rock painting of Cerro Colorado, Córdoba, Argentina was compared with the basic concepts and definitions of the mural. The study of the original language provides the possibility of entering a timeless space without limits in its physical, psychic and spiritual planes, by applying a cosmic perspective with a vision of totality, agreeing to be part of a whole, using an innate language of archetypes, essential in human communication.
