Abstract
En este artículo se pretende indagar acerca de las principales acciones de poder realizadas por reyes y personajes de la élite mixtecas. A través del estudio del códice Tonindeye, se van a estudiar los principales atributos y acciones para ver qué significado tenían entre sí. El objetivo principal es el de hacer un análisis iconográfico para obtener una comprensión mayor de la figura del gobernador en esta cultura. Para ello se ha elaborado un cribaje de los principales símbolos distintivos de la realeza y sus actos, y, posteriormente, hacer una correlación entre ambas características.
The aim of this article is to investigate the main actions of royalty performed by kings, queens and characters of the Mixtec elite. The main attributes and actions of the Tonindeye codex will be studied to see what meaning they have for each other. The principal objective is to carry out an iconographic analysis to obtain a finer apprehension of the figure of the governor in this society. To do this, the distinctive symbols of kingship and their actions have been studied, to make a correlation between the two characteristics throughout this document.
