Abstract
Small communities have limited resources for disaster preparation and planning. This project provides a factual basis for Central City, Nebraska, to work toward a comprehensive, locally based, hazard mitigation plan by estimating potential losses to people and property from natural and man-made disasters within the city's jurisdiction.
