Abstract
It was the purpose of this study to evaluate the 4-H TV Action series as a method of presenting emergency preparedness material as 4-H project material to fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students.
The dependent variables for the purpose of this study were “knowledge gained” in presenting emergency preparedness 4-H material by educational television and “participation” in the series. There were six independent variables selected for this study, they include: socio-economic area of residence, grade in school, method of preprogram information given by teacher, intelligence, sex, and previous membership in 4-H clubs.
