Abstract
The purpose of this study was to see if there was a possibility of selecting alfalfa clones preferentially attractive to honey bees as preliminary work for the investigation of the causes of the preference. During the summer of 1963 the 422 clones in three alfalfa nurseries located in the vicinity of the East Campus, University of Nebraska, were observed to determine degree of honey bee visitation preference.
