Abstract
A survey of the nutrient status of soils in the North Platte Valley for sugar beet production was conducted in cooperation with the Scottsbluff Experiment Station in the summer of 1963. Plant and soil analyses were used to assess the nutrient status of the soils. For this survey 70 sites were chosen throughout Scottsbluff County, which represented two of each of 35 soil types and phases.
