Abstract

Several schools have expressed interest in initiating a speech correction program in their respective schools and counties. Immediately, the problem they face becomes apparent. How do we develop such a program? The purpose of this paper was to select one of these areas, Douglas County, and develop a proposed plan for speech correction for that area. The choice of Douglas County as the area to investigated was made because of the interest the county superintendent expressed in establishing a speech correction program there.
