Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present the results of a study of the soils in the field and the laboratory of Hendricks Township, Otoe County, Nebraska. The study was made during the school year of 1939-40. This study included a detailed survey of the souls, relief, drainage, and topsoil thickness in the field; and in the laboratory a study of the soil texture, number of Azotobacter, the acidity, and the amount of erosion of soils.
