Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine as far as possible the number of factors responsible for plant height and spike internode length in a cross between Hordeum deficiens nudideficiens and Club Mariout (Hordeum vulgare), and also their linkage relations with factors for qualitative characters, hulled versus naked caryopsis, long- versus short-haired rachilla, six-rowed versus non-six-rowed, and intermedium versus non-intermedium fertility of lateral florets.
